Natalie Joelle Morrison, age 27, of Bloomington, IL formerly of Grayslake, IL passed away early Saturday morning, March 4, 2023 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, IL. She was born December 23, 1995 in Urbana, IL, and was the daughter of Gregory Allen Morrison and Angeline Deanne (Gilmore) Morrison.
Natalie was a 2014 graduate of Grayslake North High School. After graduation, she earned an Associates in Arts and Associates in Applied Science in Criminal Justice from College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL. She worked at Jewel-Osco for eight years. Natalie spent three years working with the Grayslake Police Department through the Explorer Program. She attended Eastview Christian Church of Normal, IL. Natalie loved adventure; she enjoyed kayaking and skydiving. She had a caring heart for her family and friends. She brought joy and endless smiles to her nieces and nephews whom she loved tremendously.
Survivors include her parents Gregory and Angeline Morrison of Bloomington, IL; her brother and sisters, Rachel (Alex Aguado) Morrison of Grayslake, IL, Joel (Natalie) Morrison of Streamwood, IL, Jacqueline (Jeremy) Bork of Bloomington, IL, and Heather (Preston) Beckman of Antioch, IL; her paternal grandfather, Julian C. Morrison, Jr. of Roanoke, IL; maternal grandmother, Virginia Denham of Metamora, IL; her nieces and nephews, Delilah Potter, Austin Aguado, and Adrianna Aguado of Grayslake, IL, Seth Bork and Caleb Bork of Bloomington, IL; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Wanita Morrison; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Denham; and infant brother, John Matthew Morrison.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Casey First Baptist Church, Casey, IL with Pastor Tom Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in rural Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Thursday morning prior to the service at Casey First Baptist Church, 101 E. Alabama Ave., Casey, IL 62420.
