Naomi Fay (Morgan) Davis

Naomi Fay Davis, age 84, of Casey, IL departed this earthly life at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Heartland Nursing and Rehab Center in Casey, IL surrounded by her loving family.  She was born September 15, 1938 in Noble, IL, the daughter of Lozier Morgan and Gladys (Shultz) Morgan.  On July 8, 1957 she married Perry Gene Davis in a little country church near Claremont, IL; he passed away on October 12, 2016.   

She leaves to mourn her passing one son, Perry Eugene "Gene" Davis of Westfield, IL; one daughter, Deborah Darlene (Russell) Conrad of Casey, IL; five grandchildren, Nickolas Davis of Nashville, TN, Michael Davis of Westfield, IL, Whitney Davis of Bethalto, IL, Meghan (Seth) Ghast of Westfield, IL and Holly (Sean) Carroll of Oak Harbor, WA; seven great grandchildren, Nadylie, Kyler and Logan Ghast, Kaylee Schoffner, Gracie and Lexi Oliver and Jonathan Carroll;  sister in law, Rose Morgan of Sumner, IL and many nephews and nieces.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Roger Paul Davis on February 8, 2016; great granddaughter, Khloe Rachel Davis and siblings, Donald Morgan, Virgil Morgan and Margorie McKinney.

Naomi graduated high school and continued her education at Graham Bible College in Bristol, TN.  Naomi worked for the State of Illinois Department of Employee Security for 18 ½ years.  She enjoyed working and playing on her computer, attending flea markets and garage sales, collecting roosters and antique Moonstar dishes.  Most of all she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.  Private burial will be held at Liberty Cemetery, Hutton Township, Coles County, IL.
