Myrtle Garrard Obituary

Myrtle DeLee Garrard, age 82, of Casey, IL passed away at 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Casey Health Care Center, Casey, IL. She was born November 12, 1938 in Flat Rock, IL the daughter of Oscar “Jim” Bland and Beatrice “DeLee” Milam. She married Gene Hollingsworth and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Janney (Carl) of West York, IL, Beckie Carter (Leon) of Nogal, NM, Helen Cooper (Kim) of Martinsville, IL; son, Steve Jenkins (Kim) of Casey, IL; sister, Nita Bradbury of Robinson, IL; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Beatrice Brinkman and granddaughter Diane Jenkins.

Myrtle grew up in Crawford County, IL and later moved to Clark County, IL. She was a member of the Moriah Church, Casey, IL. Myrtle loved her family & friends deeply and will be missed.
