Mary Lou Booth Patchett Obituary

Mary Lou Booth Patchett, age 65, of Casey, IL passed away at 11:13 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2020 at her home in Casey, IL.  She was born in Rushville, IN, the daughter of Richard King Booth and Mary Helen Luckey Booth.  On November 24, 1987 she married Lawrence Kermit Patchett in Las Vegas, NV.

Surviving are her loving husband of thirty two years, Larry Patchett of Casey, IL; son, Lance Edward Patchett (Baili) of Casey, IL; grandchildren, Makenzie Blaine Patchett and Kolbie Brooklyn Patchett of Casey, IL; sister, Martha Henry (Gary) of Crystal River, FL; her Church family and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mary Lou was a 1973 graduate of Rushville High School.  She continued her education earning her Bachelors degree from Ball State University.  Mary Lou was a multi-talented entrepreneur and homemaker.  She had previously served as Regional Vice President for A.L. Williams Insurance.  Mary Lou had an enthusiastic personality; her smile and laughter were contagious and could easily brighten anyone’s day.  Mary Lou loved flowers and created beautiful flower gardens around her home.  She was a member of the Casey First Christian Church and loved Jesus, her family and friends.

Memorial services in honor of Mary Lou will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Casey First Christian Church with Pastor Jaret Alvis officiating.  Inurnment was previously held in Vernon Addition Cemetery, Casey, IL.  (Per CDC guidelines, 50 attendees are allowed inside the facility at a time. Attendees should stay at least 6 feet apart and wear a cloth face covering.)
