Lois Irene Simpson

Lois Irene Simpson, 91, of Casey, IL passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2007 at Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. She was born August 10, 1915 in Casey, IL to James Oscar Deverick and Nellie May Easton Deverick. On September 30, 1933 in Paris, IL she married Vern V. Simpson, he passed away on August 17, 1993.

Survivors include a son Bobbie Simpson and wife Linda of Casey, a daughter Betty Jo Scott and husband Walt of Casey, a grandson Wayne Andrew Scott and a great granddaughter Amanda Scott. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Gene Deverick and sister Lulu Simpson.

Lois was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Markwell & Son Funeral Home, Casey with Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Washington Street Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 24, 2007 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Markwell & Son Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Manor Nursing Center in Casey.
