Kory Jason Cummins

Kory Jason Cummins, age 49, of Casey, IL went to Our Father at 5:51 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  He was born March 17, 1972 in Bloomington, IL the son of Noel Price Cummins and Georgia Ann McBride Cummins.

Survivors include his three beautiful daughters Pauline Noelle Cummins, Vivienne Ann Marie Cummins and Karline Rae Cummins; parents Noel Cummins and Georgia Hardy (Tom); brothers, Matt Cummins (Heidi), Doug Cummins (Shelby) and Aaron Cummins (Jennifer); eight nieces and nephews and one great niece, his Church family and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents. 

Kory was a 1990 graduate of Casey High School and graduated from Lake Land College with his Diesel Mechanic degree.  He always enjoyed working; he was a mechanic for Bolin’s.  Kory was at home in the woods hunting and fishing or in a tractor farming.  He was well known as a helper to anyone and there wasn’t a machine he couldn’t fix. 

Kory was a loving son, brother, uncle, dad and most importantly a man of God.  Pauli, Vivi and Karli were his world.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  Rest in Peace Big Dog!

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Brooke Davis officiating.  Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery, rural Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from, 4 – 7 p.m. on Monday evening at the First Southern Baptist Church, 104 West Highway 40, Greenup, IL. (Per CDC guidelines attendees should social distance and wear a cloth face covering.)
