Karen June (Minesinger) Ogle, age 81, of Bel Aire, KS formerly of Terre Haute, IN and Charleston, IL passed away at 3:40 a.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Bel Aire, KS.
Karen was born March 2, 1940, in Casey, IL the daughter of Dean Stanley Minesinger and Nema Versal Snyder Bolin Minesinger. On December 20, 2012, she married Robert Lee “Bob” Ogle in West Terre Haute, IN; he passed away on March 4, 2019.
Survivors include her children, Dean, Kim, Donna, Susan, and Kelly; brother, William Minesinger (Mary), thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; son, D.J. Wilson; brother, Leroy Dean Minesinger and her loving pet companions, Ginger and Denver.
Karen was a graduate of Paris High School in Paris, IL. She served our country in the US Air Force during peacetime. Karen was a food service employee for Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center for several years. She was a true people person and always enjoyed visiting with anyone she met. Karen was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend; she will be missed by her family and friends.
A graveside committal will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL with Rev. Joy Starwalt officiating. Graveside military rites will be provided by the Casey VFW and Martinsville American Legion.
