John Eugene Truelove

John Eugene Truelove, age 52, of Westfield, IL formerly of Casey, IL passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County, IL.  He was born July 14, 1968 in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Norman L. Truelove and Mildred J. Bertholf Truelove. 

Survivors include his parents, Norman and Mildred Truelove of Casey, IL; son, Jared Truelove (Samantha) of Marshall, IL; six grandchildren; siblings, Norman Truelove, Jr., Jeffrey Truelove, Daniel Truelove and Rhonda Wilson and their families, all of Casey, IL and significant other, Heather Fisher of Westfield, IL.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, sister, Christina Truelove and niece, Audria Mignon Truelove.

John was a 1986 graduate of Casey High School; he was a member of the 1985 State Champion Casey Football team.  John served his country in the US Army.  He was a truck driver and owned and operated Eastern Illinois Transport. 

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
