Lois Iline Simpson, age 88 of Casey, IL passed away at 7:30 a.m. on January 22, 2020 in Casey, IL. She was born August 15, 1931 in Grandville Township, Yale, IL, the daughter of Ralph Kenneth Kibler and Hazel Edith Parcel Kibler. On September 23, 1950 she married James “Jim” Lee Simpson in Yale, IL and he preceded her in death on December 21, 2008.
Iline is survived by her three children, Steve Simpson (Bobbi) of Morton, IL, Scott Simpson (Linda) of Yale, IL and Shelley Baltz (Tim) of Aurora, IL; grandchildren, Cori Sander of Morton, IL, Leslie Smith (Shane) of Morton, IL, Daniel Baltz (Stephanie) of Carbondale, IL, Moriah Baltz of Minneapolis, MN, Katie Simpson (boyfriend, Matt Byrum) Edgewood, IL, Lane Simpson (girlfriend, Michelle VanCleave) of Lexington, NE; great grandchildren, Garrett, Annie and Levi Sander; Cooper, Graham and Hannah Smith; sister, Wilma Smith of Decatur, IL, brother, Clifford Kibler of Terre Haute, IN and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Kenneth Kibler; sister, Mary Alice Shanks and half-sister, Deloris Lupi.
Iline was a faithful member of Moriah Church of God. Iline was a sales representative for Avon for over 40 years and enjoyed serving her community. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and was an avid reader. Iline always made her family a priority and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the Markwell Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Baltz officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Cemetery, rural Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
