Helen "Rosemary" Williams

Helen “Rosemary” Williams, age 92, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 6:20 a.m. on March 25, 2020 in Casey, IL. She was born September 11, 1927 in Rural Martinsville, IL, the daughter of David Carl Patchett and Ethel Daisy Buckle Patchett. On March 15, 1947 she married Herbert E. Williams in Mattoon, IL and he preceded her in death on June 30, 1996.

Rosemary is survived by her son, David P. Williams (Kim) of Simpsonville, SC; daughter, Kathryn A. Jenkins (Rick) of Gardnerville, NV; grandchildren, Eric, Joel and Kyle Jenkins, Sheila Cribelar, Melissa Evans and Andrew Keller; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Wayne Patchett and Robert Patchett and two sisters, Rogene Patchett and Vivian Patchett Coleman.

Rosemary was a member of United Methodist Church in Martinsville, Martinsville American Legion Auxiliary and Eastern Illinois University Delta Zeta Sorority.

Graveside services and burial will be conducted at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Martinsville, IL, at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, MO.
