Frieda Dolores Hanners

Frieda Dolores Hanners, age 88, of Casey, IL passed away at 12:06 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL.  She was born December 29, 1931 in Greenup, IL, the daughter of William Oscar Hanners and Minnie Marie Phillippi Hanners.

Survivors include her sister, Donna Alexander (John) of Dayton, NV; nephews and nieces, Susan Kemper, David Hanners, Robert Hanners, Richard Hanners, Steve Goodman, Mark Goodman, Gus Alexander, Cathy Barnes and Anne Zoellner and many great nephews and nieces.  She was preceded by her parents, brothers, Clarence Hanners and Deon Hanners; sisters, Ellen Hanners, Bertha Goodman and Norma Elkins and nephews, John Hanners and Tom Alexander.

Frieda was retired after 32 years as an inspector for Ettlebrick Shoe Factory.  She was a faithful member of the Casey First Christian Church.

Due to current social restrictions graveside services in honor of Frieda will be private.  Burial will be in Ruffner Cemetery rural Casey, IL with Pastor John Blaylock officiating. 

Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
