F. Merle Todd

F. Merle Todd, age 79, of Casey, IL passed away at 11:55 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 1998 at his residence. He was born October 6, 1918 in Illiopolis, IL the son of Fred M. Todd and Myrtle M. Cartmel Todd. On June 2, 1946, he married Lucile Lee in Casey, IL.

Survivors include his wife Lucile Todd of Casey, IL; two sons, Scott Louis Todd (Cheryl) of Charleston, IL and Gordon Lynn Todd (Mary Kay) of Kent, WA; two daughters, Barbara Lee Konrad (Kurt) of Shumway, IL and Nancy Todd of Casey, IL; one sister, Mildred Owens of Springfield, IL; 10 grandchildren, Andrea Todd Madlem (Brian), Cara Todd, Chris Todd, John Todd, Aaron Todd, Kimberly Todd, Jameson Todd, Kelsey Konrad and Maxwell Konrad; one great grandchild, Dalton Todd. He was preceded in death by parents and grand daughter, Amy Michelle Todd.

He was a retired farmer and dairyman. He was a faithful member of the First Christian Church in Casey, IL. He was also a member of the American Dairymen’s Association and Clark County Farm Bureau.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 2 at the Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Rosborough officiating. Burial followed in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation was held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL 62420.

Memorials can be made to the First Christian Church in Casey, the American Dairymen’s Association or the Clark County Farm Bureau.
