Elsie Mae (Cutright) Dillier, age 86, of Casey, IL passed away at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL. She was born April 26, 1936 in Union Center, IL, the daughter of Charles Franklin Cutright and Bernice Estella (Short) Cutright. On December 20, 1954 she married Harold Leon Dillier in Casey, IL.
Survivors include son, Randy (Brenda) Dillier of Casey, IL; daughter, Brenda (Kurt) Edens of Casey, IL; sister, Lela Hyland of Mattoon, IL; brother, Max (Rose) Cutright of Ashmore, IL; sister in law, Carolyn (Tom) Baker of Paris, IL; grandchildren, Clint (Kacey) Dillier; Jenna (Shane) Edwards; Lucas (Katie) Dillier; Weston (Vicki) Edens; Michael (Karri) Edens; Kelsey Edens; great grandchildren, Winnie Dillier, Samantha Dillier, Ziggy Dillier, Breanne Edwards, Logan Edwards, Grayson Edwards, Carter Edwards, Jedson Dillier, Owen Dillier, Nora Dillier, Eden Dillier, Blake Edens, Landon Edens, Kelly Jo Edens, Ada Edens, and Edie Edens; many nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leon Dillier; and brother, Lee Cutright.
Elsie was a 1954 graduate of Casey High School. Elsie and Leon were lifelong farmers in the Casey area. She also worked as a local realtor and appraiser. Elsie was an active member of the Casey United Methodist Church. Elsie and Leon enjoyed traveling.
Memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Casey United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Joe Richard officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the Casey United Methodist Church, 703 N State Hwy 49, Casey, IL. Private inurnment will be held at the Casey Cumberland Cemetery in Casey, IL.
