Doris Joan Wilson

Doris Joan Wilson, age 83, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 11:10 a.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Casey Health Care Center in Casey, IL. Doris was born to Morton Asbury Wilson and Mary Eunice Janney Wilson in Clark County, IL on April 13, 1937.

She is survived by her sisters, Donna Wilson of Martinsville, IL and Dora Mae Cobb of Frankfort, IN; thirteen nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Dale Wilson, Darrel Wilson and Dallas Wilson.

Doris was a faithful member of the Wesleyan Church in Marshall, IL and loved attending church. She enjoyed watching television and crossword puzzles. She loved being with people and enjoyed life when she was able to get out and go places. She will get greatly missed by her family and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville, IL. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL with Pastor Paul Burress officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery in rural Martinsville, IL. (Per CDC guidelines, 50 attendees are allowed inside our facility at a time. Attendees should stay at least 6 feet apart and wear a cloth face covering.)
