Deloris Marlene Lanham

Deloris Marlene Lanham, age 81, of Oblong, IL passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Home, Robinson, IL.  She was born September 28, 1938 in Crawford County, IL the daughter of Arlo N. Hart and Inez Irene Stephens Hart.  On April 2, 1958 she married James Walter Lanham in Casey, IL.  He passed away on September 1, 1996.

Survivors include son, James Walter Lanham  (Pam) of West Union, IL; daughter, Deborah Lowe (Larry) of Oblong, IL; sisters, Ruth Goodwin of Robinson, IL; Marie Pappageorge of Robinson, IL and Mary Jane Cawood (Larry) of Robinson, IL; four grandchildren; four step grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Brenda Lee Hills and brother, Allen Hart. 

Deloris was a homemaker and farmer’s wife.  She attended the Dugan Church for many years.  She enjoyed quilting and fishing.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Bellair Cemetery, Crawford County, IL.  Visitation will be held from 9 – 10 a.m. prior to the service at the cemetery.
