Debra Ann Draper, age 65, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at her home. She was born August 9, 1954 in Terre Haute, IN the daughter of Dwight Eugene Washburn and Norma Leona Moore Washburn. On August 25, 1969 she married Donald Eugene Draper in St. Charles, MO.
Survivors include her husband, Don Draper of Martinsville, IL; sons, Ronald Alan Draper (Beth) of Martinsville, IL and Troy Eugene Draper (Michelle) of Noblesville, IN; brothers, Doug Washburn (Mary) of Casey, IL and David Washburn (Maria) of Casey, IL; sisters, Jenny Rodebaugh (Randy) of Greenup, IL; Norma Janney of Casey, IL and Sue Simpson (Jerry) of Effingham, IL; sister in law, Tammy Washburn of Marshall, IL and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Washburn.
Debra was a foreman at Pap R Products in Martinsville, IL. She was a dedicated member of the Casey VFW Women’s Auxiliary. Debra enjoyed reading and was an avid hunter; she traveled extensively on hunting trips to Africa, Canada, Texas, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico and Nevada.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Greenwell Funeral Home with Pastor Billie Ray Ulrey officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL.
