DeAnn S. Parker

DeAnn S. Parker, age 81, of Princeton, IN formerly of Westfield, IL passed away at 7:04 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16th 2023 at her home in Princeton, IN.  DeAnn was born February 5th, 1942 in Ashmore, IL to Charles Hampton and Nellie Lucinda Parker.  On August 25th, 2006 she married Bob Lasley of Princeton, IN.

Survivors include husband, Bob Lasley of Princeton, IN; brother, Terry Parker of Westfield, IL; son, Darin Urick (Pam) of Ashburn, VA; grandchildren, Ryan Urick of Arlington, VA, Morgan Urick of Ashburn, VA, and Madison Urick of Ashburn VA; three step-children; and many nephews and nieces.

DeAnn was a 1960 graduate of Charleston High School.  In her younger years she worked for the US Postal Service in Westfield, IL.  DeAnn retired from Embarrass River Based Agency in Greenup, IL after 31 years as their Fiscal Director.  She loved to travel both within the United States and overseas to visit her son’s family when they lived abroad.

Memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Colvin Funeral Home, 425 N. Main St., Princeton, IN 47670.  Condolences may be expressed at www.colvinfuneralhome.com for those in the Princeton, IN area.  

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL 62420.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Markell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Pastor Bret Hammond officiating.  Burial will follow at Bean Cemetery, rural Martinsville (Cleone), IL.
