David Keith Edwards

David Keith Edwards, age 82, of Westfield, IL passed way at 8:59 pm on Monday April 26, 2021 in Westfield, IL.  He was born January 5, 1939 in Westfield, IL the son of Clarence William Edwards and Martha V. Sublett Edwards.  On November 26, 1958 he married Barbara J. Hammond in Westfield, IL.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years Barbara J. Edwards of Westfield, IL; son Tony Kirk Edwards (Sherry) Westfield, IL; daughter Tammy Darlene Drew (Shannon) of Monticello, IL; daughter in law Mary Edwards of Westfield, IL; grandchildren, Zach, Aubrey, D.J., Seth, Austin, Alyssa and Cheyenne; eight great grandchildren; brother Wayne Dean Edwards of Charleston, IL and many nephews and nieces.  He was preceded by his parents, son Todd Charles Edwards; brothers Donald Lee Edwards, Charles Eugene Edwards, William Clarence “Billy” Edwards. Jr. and sisters, Mary Catherine Goble and Irma Jean Hammond. 

Keith was a 1957 graduate of Westfield High School. He was employed by CSX (formerly NY Central, PenCentral and ConRail) in communications and TNT maintainer for forty-four years.  He was a member of Cross Roads Community Church in Sullivan, IN.  Keith was a member of Casey Moose and Westfield Masonic Lodge where he served as Master Mason.

Private family services will be held with burial in Bean Cemetery, rural Martinsville, IL.
