Crystal Lynn Claypool Logan

Crystal Lynn Claypool Logan, age 72, “Won Her Victory” and went home to her Lord on May, 17, 2020 in Terre Haute, In. with her husband, Glenn Logan, at her side.

She was born July 31, 1947 on a small family farm northwest of Clarksville, Il. and spent her childhood there.  Crystal was the 8th and last child of Raymond and Aura Combs Claypool. She married her loving and dedicated husband of 42 years Glenn Howard Logan on Sept. 18, 1977.

Crystal is survived by her husband Glenn and son Sean William Logan both of Martinsville. The joy of her life was granddaughter River Laine Logan of Mattoon, Il.  Surviving also, is her brother Lloyd (Donna) Claypool of Georgetown, Tx. and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved son Todd in 2015; Brothers Donald, Denny, Carl and Sisters, Audrey Shafer, June Bubeck, Marjorie Thompson.

Crystal was multitalented; she was a hairdresser, salesperson and a homemaker.  She came from a musically talented family and enjoyed playing the piano.  She also, wrote stories, one of which has been published.  Crystal attended the Vineyard Church in Martinsville, Il.

She drew strength thru her years of suffering from her Lord, Glenn, many friends and church family. She gave us all an example of great determination to overcome through difficult challenges

Due to current social restrictions the graveside services in honor of Crystal will be limited to immediate family at the Clarksville Cemetery, Clarksville, Il.

Memorial donations may be made to “Recue Me Clifford”.  Crystal had a heart for animals…..especially her special love were her 2 “furry friends” Katie and Zola!!
