Charles Edward "Charlie" Miller, Jr.

Charles Edward "Charlie" Miller, Jr., age 66, of Casey, IL passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at his home in rural Casey, IL.  He was born September 9, 1953 in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Charles Edward Miller, Sr. and Carol Sue Bradford Miller. On June 30, 1990 he married Myrtle Irene Duniphan in Casey, IL.

Survivors include his mother, Carol Reddick of Casey, IL; wife, Myrtle Miller of Casey, IL; sons, Dennis Miller (Mindy) of Casey, IL; Shaun Miller of Charleston, IL and Joe Miller of Mattoon, IL; daughter, Diana Robinson (Rilan, Jr.) of Casey, IL; brother, Terry Miller of Casey, IL; sister, Suzette Cox of Ashmore, IL; stepson, Scott Brewer, Jr. of Newman, IL; stepdaughters, Judy Brewer of Casey, IL and Jamie Brewer of Casey, IL; stepmother, Mary Miller of Casey, IL; Hayden siblings; twenty-five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Miller, Sr.

Charlie was a well-respected self-employed carpet and flooring installer.  In his younger years he attended the Casey Central Baptist Church.  Charlie never met a stranger; he always took time to get to know people - especially his clients.  Although he was a very private and quiet person, he truly enjoyed talking with people, fishing, hunting and shooting guns.    

Graveside Services were held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Vernon Addition Cemetery, Casey, Illinois.
