Betty Lanelle Atkins

Betty Lanelle Atkins, Age 85, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 4:25 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Heartland Nursing and Rehab in Casey, IL.  She was born July 25, 1935 in Orange Township, Clark County, IL, the daughter of Glenn Harold Atkins and Pearl Irene Gilbert Atkins. 

She is survived by several cousins.  She was preceded in death by parents and several uncles and aunts.

Betty was a 1953 graduate of Martinsville High School.  She was a faithful member of Olive Branch Church rural Martinsville, IL.  Betty loved bowling; bowling in a women’s league for the Savage Auto Sales team.  She also enjoyed traveling.  Betty loved the time she spent helping her dad farm.  She always found pleasure in maintaining, mowing and raking her yard.

Private family funeral services will be held with Rev. Randy Nave officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville, IL.
