Alan Keith Burnett

Alan Keith Burnett, age 84, of Russellville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in Cumberland County, Illinois to the late Olin Clark Burnett, Sr. and Elva Lorene (Ragon) Burnett.  Keith was an elder of the Northside Church of Christ in Russellville and also a preacher of the gospel for over 65 years. 

He is preceded in death by his brother Clark Burnett and a sister Pat Calvert and is survived by his wife of 61 years Bobbie Jean (Cook) Burnett, two sons; Eric Keenan Burnett (Jeanne) of Bowling Green and Ronald Gene Burnett of Park City, a sister; Marianna Shick of Garland, Texas, five grandchildren; Eric Blane (Mckenzie), Wren Michael Burnett, Maria Ellen Burnett, Keela Marie Willoughby Burden, and Karla Jo Hamilton (Mason), and two great grandchildren Kirbee Jo Hamilton and Luna Nicole Burnett and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Alan Keith Burnett will be conducted Monday, June 8, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Chris Kramer and Brent Lee officiating.  Visitation will begin Monday from 5:00 P.M. until service time at 7:00 P.M.  Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Hazel Dell North Cemetery in Hazel Dell, Illinois.

The family ask that donations be made to the Florida College in Temple Terrace, Florida or the SAR (Sons of the American Revolution), President Adam Scales.
